Torque (or moment of force) quantifies the tendency of a force to rotate an object about an axis. It is a critical parameter in mechanical design, engineering, and physics. Our Torque Converter tool allows you to quickly and accurately convert between various torque units—from the SI standard of newton meters to units such as newton centimeters, kilonewton meters, dyne-based units, and many common force-based units used in both metric and imperial systems.

Wie funktioniert es?

Unser Konverter verwendet ein zweistufiges Verfahren:

  1. In die Basiseinheit umrechnen:
    The input torque is first converted to newton meters using the conversion factor for the selected “From” unit.

  2. In die Zieleinheit umrechnen:
    The newton meter value is then converted into the chosen “To” unit using its corresponding conversion factor.

This process ensures that your torque calculations are both accurate and consistent.
