Magnetic Flux Converter
Comprehensive Magnetic Flux Converter
Magnetic flux is a measure of the total magnetic field passing through a given area, and it is expressed in webers (Wb). Our Magnetic Flux Converter enables you to easily convert between various units of magnetic flux—from the SI base unit (weber) to related units such as milliweber, microweber, volt second, unit pole, megaline, kiloline, line, maxwell, and even units expressed in terms of area (tesla square meter, tesla square centimeter, and gauss square centimeter) and the magnetic flux quantum.
What Units Are Covered?
Our converter supports a complete list of magnetic flux units with conversion factors defined relative to weber [Wb]:
Weber [Wb] (base unit)
Milliweber [mWb]: 1 mWb = 0.001 Wb.
Microweber [µWb]: 1 µWb = 1.0E-6 Wb.
Volt second [V*s]: 1 V*s = 1 Wb.
Unit pole: 1 unit pole ≈ 1.256637061436E-7 Wb.
Megaline: 1 megaline = 0.01 Wb.
Kiloline: 1 kiloline = 1.0E-5 Wb.
Line: 1 line = 1.0E-8 Wb.
Maxwell [Mx]: 1 Mx = 1.0E-8 Wb.
Tesla square meter [T*m²]: 1 T*m² = 1 Wb.
Tesla square centimeter: 1 T*cm² = 0.0001 Wb.
Gauss square centimeter: 1 G*cm² = 1.0E-8 Wb.
Magnetic flux quantum: 1 quantum = 2.06783461E-15 Wb.
How Does It Work?
The converter uses a two-step process:
Convert to the Base Unit:
The input value is first converted into webers using the conversion factor of the selected “From” unit.Convert to the Target Unit:
The value in webers is then converted into your chosen “To” unit using its corresponding conversion factor.
This method ensures precise and consistent conversions for all your magnetic flux calculations.
